November has been a great month for Animalia, as the team gear up to re-launch their unit in Govan Cross Shopping Mall. Now offering not only a safe space for people to drop in, talk with the team and have a coffee, there is now dedicated space to display the range of Animalia Apparel on offer.
Animalia Apparel has been consistent over these last few years. Creating garments for top athletes and all alike. Made with training in mind, design and materials are taken into great consideration to last for performance as well as style.
We’re delighted that some of our regulars are already getting involved, trying on some of the new items and passing on their ideas for the future – all of which will be added into the mix! If you’ve not visited yet, to drop in and keep your eyes peeled as we announce all the new things happening over December.
As well as the re-launch we are delighted this month to sponsor and follow to Wales, long-term Animalia Athlete and all-round great guy, Jamie McGowan as he took part in the World Kickboxing Association Emerge Fight Series at the World Championships.
Jamie “Choirboy” McGowan, went with the ambition of testing his skills against top competitors in his weight, fighting not once but on three consecutive occasions on the night. Despite early injury, Jamie went on to become the first 63.5kg World Emerge Champion.
Humble as ever, Jamie commented ‘It was a learning curve, even though I won, I recognised areas I can improve upon. I really enjoyed the experience though, of fighting three times in the one night. It’s given me another boost and I’m hungry for more!’
All at Animalia can see that the future for Jamie is bright as he demonstrates his skills not just in the ring but with his on-going contribution to Animalia… we’re sure you’ll be seeing more of the Choirboy in 2023...!
